MBF Bank incorporated in Tonga commenced operations on 29 October 1993. It is one of the four fully commissioned Commercial Banks in Tonga under the supervision of National Reserve Bank of Tonga . It is a significant player in the financial system in Tonga playing the role of a clearing bank in Tonga.
